Set in 1880s New Mexico Territory, Rebel Heart tells the story of Paulita Maxwell—a young woman caught between family loyalty, forbidden love and the growing legend of Billy the Kid.

As violence closes in, Paulita must choose between the life expected of her and the freedom she desires.
